Transcription of audio files is one of our most popular services. We can transcribe either digital files (mp3, wav or dss) using Express Scribe or microcassette tapes. We specialise in the following and also have legal and some medical terminology experience:

Rates

We offer a choice of rates in this area to satisfy our clients' preferences. Rates also vary depending on the number of speakers and quality of audio:

  • Hourly rate - starting from $35/hour; or
  • Per audio minute - starting from $2/audio minute

We ask our clients to be aware that transcription time of an audio file depends on the quality of dictation, background noise and number of voices to be identified. The clearer the recording, the more economical it is for our clients.

As a guide, 1 hour of recording equates to between 3-6 hours of transcription time.

File Upload Facilities

For clients who are reluctant to email their audio files, we use the services of SendThisFile to enable a safer and faster option for the smooth transition of uploading digital files.
